Sow, So You Can Reap
An interesting thought came to me today:
We will be having a Jupiter and Uranus conjunction this weekend, and for those who are Astro saavy, you know what that means...
For those who are NOT astro saavy, it means big, transformative energy, balls-to-the-walls change, and transformation for the better.
Now, it all depends on where your conjunction takes place, i.e. the house and sign, as to what topics you will feel this most in. [Please reach out to your friendly neighborhood astrologer (ME!) for help with this.]
For myself, this conjunction happens in my 10th house (the public house) in Taurus.
And let me tell you, I am feeling it.
This pull towards sowing my seeds for business, starting my own practice, putting myself out there.
That consistent hardworking bull-like energy that is pulling the cart and making the magic happen.
Taurus is not a "quick" sign like Aries.
It will take time to manifest, likely the fruits will bear later, whether it be in weeks, months or even years.
So while my progress has been slow, the things I do during this conjunction will take time to manifest.
The point of this letter is to say, no matter whether you believe in Astrology or not (and if you don't, thanks for reading anyways), this is a better time than ever to SOW.
Astrology or not, you NEED to sow.
SOW, so you can reap.
Don't wait till next year or a few months to do "the thing".
You do not lose anything in starting now.
Just start.
If I am pressuring you, it is because I know from experience what it feels like to hold yourself back.
I am a recovering hold-myself-back-er.
For YEARS (10 to be exact), I worked jobs I didn't enjoy, stayed in relationships that sucked, lived in places that didn't inspire me, all because of the excuses I made to stay there.
I rejected all the universe's help, signs, and signals.
Life could have literally sent a flare into my living room and I'd sit there thinking it was a power outage.
For as long as I stayed in those places, I was limited to the resources of those places.
I could not even think about reaping because I hadn't even tried sowing yet.
If you take anything away from this letter, it is this:
Change trains new resources/skills within you to develop.
If you read this and it resonates, please take it to heart.
You have outgrown your places of familiarity. You can only go so far with what you've been doing.
It is time to sow a new path forward.
Listen to Auntie Molly.
And for the record, I honestly don't care "what" you sow, and most other people won't either.
You could legit commit to 8 hours of sleep per night and let that be what you sow, in order to reap generous energy in the weeks to come.
You could commit to writing a weekly blog (like this one) for 12 weeks and seeing how it feels.
Your "sowing" right now, may look like joining a bowling league or eating better.
The sheer act of sowing changes you.
Sometimes the things you reap are not tangible, they're inside of you.
You'll reap new discipline, drive and perspectives that you awaken new resources WITHIN you.
By committing to sowing changes into my life, my life looks entirely different than it was and I have gained access to my own intuition, which is the most powerful tool I've ever had.
You got this!
I hope it helps you-- Please reach out and email me for any comments or feedback!
