Your Personal Niche

This week, I am releasing a freebie 🎉 called:

✨ The Niche Workbook: Spiritual Journaling for Your Chosen Path✨

When people say "niche", we immediately think of it in business terms:

What role do you play for out clients?

What is your expertise?

Who is your target population?

(Which my workbook goes into all of that and more for those of you interested 🩷.)

But a niche can also be seen in a broader perspective:

What do YOU stand for?

What do you WANT to dedicate your life to?

I wanted to elaborate on the specific heartache of generally not knowing where the hell you fit in in life.

Niche:

a. : A place, employment, status, or activity for which a person or thing is best fitted.

According to Dr. Googles, a niche (in the general sense) is something that YOU fit well.

You might have the skills, motivation, personality, and strengths that fit an industry or topic well.

But what happens when you DON'T feel that way?

What happens when you don't feel ANY way except lost, confused, and disconnected from what you have to offer?

Feeling like The Weeknd Lost at the Super Bowl.

I think in that case, we have to look at the only variable we can count on and the only person who can understand us best.... ourselves.

If you are feeling like you don't fit ANYTHING well and you haven't found your own personal "niche" (The thing you stand for or feel dedicated to), chances are this is just a sign to sit with yourself some more.

"What do YOU stand for? What do YOU want to dedicate your life to?"

You will NOT find any answers outside of yourself for questions like these.

Over a long stretch of time of being aware to yourself, you'll discover a multitude of things:

Things you didn't even realize were important to you, interests you have, ways to love yourself that you never thought about.

Continue to ask yourself big questions.

If you don't know what questions, a great place to start is with my free workbook.

Your personal "niche" starts with finding completion WITHIN yourself and then seeing where that fulfilled YOU then fits.

In the end, ALL of us have the personal "niche" of providing love and care to ourselves on a regular, and living as authentically as possible.

It really could just be as simple as that.

But for some of us, there are topics or activities we feel strongly pulled towards that we fit very well and by knowing ourselves and bravely trying new things, we can discover what those are.

Dr. Googles might get mad at me, but I also believe a niche is something that fits US well too.

As a chronic lilly-padder, I firmly believe that the thing that fits YOU, will feel good to you, will make you excited, and will ADD to your feeling of completion.

I think the thing that we fit well, should also confirm a good fit back by making us feel good when we do it.

Take my story for example. I always leaned into spirituality as a healing tool for myself.

I wanted to share that healing with others.

But spirituality is very subjective and abstract.

You can't measure it, you can only feel it.

So Astrology felt to me like an automatic good fit, not just because I have the skills that fit IT, but it also makes me feel good to have a concrete tool to finally help others.

All in all, these are lifetime questions, ya'll.

I believe in you!
