The Gift Born Out of Your Wounds

Let's get intimate for a second.

I don't mean like that.

This letter we are lightly diving into your past wounds.

We all know people who are inspired to create and teach others after they've undergone some heavy sh*t.

I know several people who became relationship coaches after a crazy breakup, or narcissistic abuse recovery coaches after they divorced a narcissist.

Sh*t, I became inspired to become a Trauma Recovery Coach after healing my own childhood baggage.

What these situations all have in common is that these humans turned their pain into progress.

They heard the call to fulfill their highest purpose.

They turned their lessons into a LEGACY.

In astrology, there is a dwarf planet called Chiron that explains exactly this: How our wounds turn us into healers and teachers.

It is one of my favorite topics to talk about during my readings.

Why?

Because it is often our wounds that empower our paths forward!

How we take that sh*t and transform it into something entirely new.

There is so much gold to be found within our hardest lessons.

As a woman building a nurturing business that helps OTHER women become their best selves, our wounds can't be forgotten.

We can't push them to the back and forget where we came from.

There is information to be found in the deep "stuff".

The gift of your trauma is that it gave you a unique angle and perspective on life.

NO ONE shares your same lense exactly the way you have it.

If you have worked at understanding and integrating your wounds, you also now have skills you didn't have before.

PERFECT skills I might add, to help others through the situations you went through.

Your history makes you intimately connected with your target population and if you've survived and thrived, people will not only pay for your story but pay for your RESULTS.

Your wounds are also a compass (especially useful for us lily-padders.) They direct us towards an important cause that we can explore.

I challenge you to explore your wounds in a useful way- Not in a way that has you diving back in and re-traumatizing yourself.

But instead in a way where your focus is on what you can take from it.

Maybe start with the following questions:

  1. Who were you before healing your wounds compared to who you are after?

  2. What do you find the most motivating about your journey thus far?

  3. What kind of person can now benefit from your experience through this situation? (Hint: It's the "you" from that time.)

  4. What is your biggest take-away/insight that has never left you since undergoing the trauma?

Focusing on the wounds you've healed will help make you an even more powerful boss b*tch, and strengthen the greatest relationship in building a business that you will have: Yourself.

I hope it helps you-- Please reach out and email me for any comments or feedback!
